Angola: TLC awarded a significant contract for the Kaombo project

The TLC Group is proud to announce that it has signed a local agency agreement contract with TechnipFMC in the frame of the SURF part of the Kaombo project, located in Block 32 offshore Angola, which is part of one of the largest SURF projects in the industry to date.

The contract signed between TLC and TechnipFMC, started in the second half of 2016 and will last for 3 years.

TLC has been awarded the Meet & Greet Services, Ship’s Agency, as well as the Customs Clearance of cargo at destination. The scope of work for TLC is composed of:

  • 18 vessels operating offshore Angola
  • Estimated  60,000 T of Break Bulk plus 150 TEUs

In order to meet the requirements, TLC has put in place a solid operational organisation in Angola, supported by the operational team at the Headquarters in Switzerland. An experienced dedicated Project Manager in Angola has also been appointed.

Scope: Husbandry services, Freight Forwarding, Ship’s Agency.
Duration of contract:  Started Q4-2014 until mid-2016
