TLC and Pentagon Strategic Alliance news

End July, the TLC Chartering desk organized the transport of a Thruster and Risers from Houston to Las Palmas.

The TLC team found a suitable vessel for the customer, and thanks to the Strategic Alliance between TLC and Pentagon Freight Services the teams have coordinated a smooth loading at Houston.

This was a complicated operation as the Thruster wasn’t located within the loading terminal. Therefore close coordination was required in order to move the Thruster by barge, from the warehouse to the loading terminal and on to the vessel, minimizing waiting time to avoid demurrages on both the vessel and the barge.

Thanks to a perfect coordination between the various teams involved, the loading happened very smoothly without any time lost.

Such operation clearly demonstrates the capacity of TLC/PFS alliance to perform complex operations smoothly.
