A word from TLC Guyana’s Country Manager

Dear Client, Dear Business Partner,

First of all, I hope that you and your families are healthy and in safe conditions, under the unprecedented Covid19 circumstances.

By way of this newsletter, I want to reassure you that TLC Guyana Inc. is fully committed to ensuring employee and customer safety, as well as operations and business continuity. To that extent, and from the beginning of the pandemic, we have put a series of measures in place:

  • The TLC Group has deployed a Code of Conduct on Covid 19: TLC Guyana Inc therefore remains fully operational following guiding principles on basic virus protective measures, or working remotely, via secured connections. The team is available via mobile phones, skype or e-mails and virtual meetings are favoured. Obviously, some delays may be expected and operations restricted, but our team is committed to providing adequate service within the restrictions prevailing locally.
  • Additionally, we have been quite active commercially during this period and are happy to share that we are developing the network with renowned international freight forwarders in order to offer tailor-made door to door solutions, from worldwide to Guyana. We hereby hope to better meet the needs of the trade; we are also reinforcing our presence in the region, by appointing a Country Manager in Trinidad, who will relocate there as soon as the conditions will allow.
  • Our Houston office, in addition to the TLC Head Quarters, is  committed to supporting your needs at origin and to engaging on an active commercial dialogue, to propose efficient solutions to meet your logistics challenge in Guyana as well as provide adequate guidance, from origin.

TLC Guyana is fully engaged into not only limiting the spread of the virus, but also in preparing the future, in order to serve its clients efficiently and grow the national economy.

Stay safe!

Mathieu Guiraud,

Country Manager
