TLC Congo Notification: Quarantine and curfew in Congo as of 31 March 2020 – COVID-19

As per the latest developments following the Presidential and Government announcements officially putting in place the quarantine in Congo, the  restriction of non-essential displacements and the establishment of a curfew from 20:00 to 05:00, TLC Congo, acting as logistics service provider, custom clearing agent and marine agency, duly agreed by the Ministry of Transportation and the CEMAC, holding an Authorisation of Activity delivered by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, hereby confirms having officially requested a safe conduct to the appropriate Congolese Authorities in order to allow the continuity of our activity, as far as possible.

In the meantime, TLC is increasing the level of already existing internal measures and instructions to protect the health of its employees and contain the risk of contagions, in accordance with the sanitary guidance’s provided by the WHO and the Ministry of Health, including but not limited to:

  • Hygienic measures
  • Distribution of hydroalcoholic gel and facial masks
  • Limitation of displacements
  • Restrictions of office entries to foreign people
  • Prohibition of human contacts
  • Awareness meetings with the employees
  • Urgency and permanency contact
  • Daily follow up with the Group Head Office, HSE and local management board
  • Continuous working hours
